FIFO Calculation based on Documents
In the settings, you can define specific document line codes to be used for the calculation. If these codes are defined, EMDI calculates FIFO only based on these specific documents.
Otherwise, the calculation is based on the following standard movement documents:
- Purchase/Import of goods
- Sale/Export of goods
- Purchase/Non-movement
- Sale/Non-movement
Calculation based on Custom Field
The settings allow you to define a Custom Field for calculations. If a Custom Field is defined, the FIFO calculation will be based on that field. If no Custom Field is defined, the calculation uses the current stock availability of the item.
Important Note
The Custom Field selection only affects the quantity taken into account for the FIFO calculation; it does not alter the primary stock availability of the item.
