In plain terms, from now on goods transport does not stop at issuing a delivery note. AADE now wants to know what is being transported, when it started, who is carrying it, where it is, and whether it was delivered correctly.
What changes in practice?
Every goods movement gets its own unique QR Code, like a digital “passport” for the load.
This means that:
- The issuer creates the Delivery Note before transport starts.
- The carrier can scan the QR at loading or reloading.
- The recipient scans the QR when they receive the goods.
How does it work step by step?
The process is roughly as follows:
1. Issue the Delivery Note
The business issues the note before the vehicle starts.
2. Start of movement
The load starts and myDATA is updated.
3. Transport / Reloading
If the carrier changes or a reload happens, the system records it.
4. Delivery
The customer or recipient confirms receipt.
5. Completion
The movement is closed electronically.
What statuses can a Delivery Note have?
A Digital Delivery Note can be:
- Registered → Issued
- In Transit → On the way
- Completed → Delivered
- Cancelled → Cancelled
- Rejected → Rejected by the recipient
What if there is a problem at delivery?
If the customer receives fewer or more items:
- a shortage can be declared
- a surplus can be declared
- or a full rejection of the load can be made
Who does it apply to?
It applies to businesses that move stock, such as:
- Trading companies
- Warehouses
- Logistics / carriers
- Wholesale
- E-shops with shipments
- Manufacturing businesses
In many cases the carrier is also declared now, not only the sender and the recipient.
