EMDI now includes a new feature for automatic retrieval and import of purchase and expense invoices directly from myDATA.
With this new functionality, you can import supplier invoices without manual data entry, saving time and significantly reducing errors.
During the import process, EMDI can automatically retrieve and register:
- Supplier information
- Item / product codes
- Product / service descriptions
- Quantities
- Net values and VAT amounts
- Inventory and commercial management updates
Before using this feature, please make sure that:
- Your EMDI application is fully updated.
- Your installed version is newer than May 18, 2026.
If you are unsure about your version, please contact the support team of SBZ Systems at support@sbzsystems.com
- Open 🔴 Purchases / Sales
- At the top-right area of the application, click the EMDI icon.
- From the menu, select:
- Windows → Import Invoice from myDATA
- The myDATA invoice retrieval window will appear, where you can:
- Set the search date range
- Select the invoice you want to import
- Preview the invoice line items before importing
- Click Import to transfer the invoice into EMDI.
- ⚠️ Before finalizing the import, make sure that the cash account and invoice type are selected correctly.
The system will automatically create or update:
- The supplier
- Items / products
- Item codes
- Quantities and values
💡 For best results, we recommend verifying that supplier item codes are correctly submitted in myDATA, so that EMDI can recognize and match the data with greater accuracy.
⚠️ This invoice retrieval feature obtains data directly from the myDATA platform of the Greek tax authority (AADE). EMDI imports the information exactly as it has been submitted by the invoice issuer. The final review, validation of the imported data (including invoice type, cash account, amounts, VAT, items, supplier details, and accounting classification), as well as the final posting into the system, remain the sole responsibility of the user. SBZ Systems and EMDI shall not be held liable for any incorrect, incomplete, or outdated data submitted to or displayed through myDATA by third-party invoice issuers.
