SBZ Staff helps companies track attendance and leave.
This guide is for the Accountant role: you view statistics, open reports, and export files. You do not manage staff and you do not approve leave.
-
Who this is for
This guide covers:
- the Accountant role — statistics, reports, and file export only,
- and briefly the Admin Accountant role — more access than Accountant (staff without delete, attendance, leave), but not full Admin rights.
If you are a company administrator, see the company guide.
-
Before you start
- You need an active account with the Accountant role (or Admin Accountant).
- Your company administrator creates the account and gives you an email and password.
- Open SBZ Staff from the link they shared with you.
- If you forgot your password, use “Forgot my password (Admin)” on the login page. Enter the company AFM and your full name exactly as in your profile. A temporary password is sent to your email.
-
What you see after login
After login, the Accountant Dashboard opens. There you find:
- company name and AFM,
- From Date / To Date filters,
- Filter Records and Export CSV buttons,
- day and month statistics,
- attendance and leave-breakdown tables,
- a monthly attendance report for the current year.
You can also change language (Greek / English) and the color theme from the top bar.
-
First tasks
- Sign in with your email and password.
- Check that your company name appears correctly in the top notice.
- Set a date range (default: last 30 days) and click Filter Records.
- Review the statistic cards: Total Employees, Present Today, Approved Leaves (this month), Pending Leaves.
- For Excel/accounting use, click Export CSV for the same date range.
-
Everyday use
Dashboard
- Attendance Records — who checked in (check-in), check-in duration, or whether the session is still active.
- Leave Breakdown (current year) — total, approved, and pending by type (for example annual leave, sick leave, unpaid leave).
- Monthly Attendance Report — employees, total check-ins, and average hours per month in the current year.
Accountant reports
In accountant reports you can filter by dates and see:
- working days, employees who checked in, and average hours,
- per employee: days worked, average hours per day, first and last day,
- per employee: approved leaves and total leave days in the range you chose (annual, sick, unpaid).
Digest emails
If the administrator enabled this in leave settings, you receive emails:
- daily, at the time set by the company, with final sick-leave decisions (approvals, cancellations, changes),
- on selected days of the month, with a list of all approved leaves (annual, sick, unpaid) for the current and next month.
You do not approve leave from these emails — they only inform you. For details, sign in and open the reports.
QR station
With the Accountant role you can open the company QR station (if you were given the link/access) so employees can check in, take breaks, and check out. You do not configure the station — the administrator does that in Settings.
-
What you cannot do as Accountant
- create or delete employees,
- approve or reject leave,
- change company settings, ERGANI, or the QR station,
- reset attendance or sign in as another user.
If you need any of these, ask your company administrator.
-
Admin Accountant (brief)
The Admin Accountant role also sees the accountant dashboard and can additionally:
- manage staff (without deleting accounts),
- view attendance and leave,
- open company reports.
Full company settings and staff deletion stay with the administrator. More in the company guide.
-
Tips
- Before exporting CSV, always set the correct date range.
- The CSV opens well in Excel (UTF-8 encoding).
- If you do not receive digest emails, ask the administrator whether the feature is enabled and whether your email is correct and active.
- The “today” and “this month” numbers on the dashboard change every day — for history, use the date filter or the reports.
